Foam Gliders

The aim of this activity is to design, build and test a foam aeroplane from a kit. The children can explore how far the plane goes and how stable it is by changing the front and back wings around or taking the propeller off the front. The activity allows children to explore different paper airplane designs and to follow engineering principles to design, build, test and refine their aircraft. Children can log their flights as they modify the design
