CAA Chair Visits Hurlford Primary School
Sir Stephen Hillier, Chair of the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) talks to the children of Hurlford Primary School in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire.
Born and brought up a mile or so away from the school and educated in Kilmarnock, this was the foundation of everything he has achieved in his professional life.
An opportunity to talk about his career to date and to inspire the next generation to achieve their dreams whatever they may be was enjoyed by all. Check out these clips from Sir Stephen’s virtual visit to Hurlford Primary School.
I found it interesting that Sir Stephen was just a little boy from Kilmarnock and managed to achieve so much including all of his goals and dreams. I have always wanted to be the aircraft engineer. He was speaking about not giving up and to keep trying. It really inspired me to keep trying to achieve my dreams.
